Pai Gow Poker Rule Information
Pai Gow Poker is not standard poker version where the gambler must obtain two strong hands instead of only one. That is why Pai Gow requires from the players much skill as well as luck is very important.
The game starts with betting, which makes it similar to other versions of poker, and to all the rest gambling games like roulette, play blackjack or even slots. The dealer deals seven cards to each player at the table which are to be arranged into two hands, five card hand and two card one. Traditionally the two card hand is called the "Low Hand" while the five card hand is also known as the "High Hand". In order to qualify the High Hand must have the higher value than the Low Hand.
The objective of Pai Gow Poker is to obtain both hands higher than two dealer’s hands. In most online casinos for the players’ convenience the hands are arranged automatically and this prevents any mistakes.
The winning combinations in Pai Gow Poker rule are slightly different from the standard. In addition, the game is played using the deck of 53 cards, where the extra card is jocker. But the joker can be used only as an Ace or other card to complete Flush, Straight or Straight Flush. Note, that in case the player’s and dealer’s hand tie according to Pai Gow Poker rule the dealer wins the hand. Also keep in mind that in this poker variation an Ace-2-3-4-5 Straight is always the second-highest after the Ace-King-Queen-Jack-10 but not the lowest.
The winning hands in Pai Gow Poker are:
5 Aces (four Aces and Joker)
Royal Flush
Straight Flush
Four of a Kind
Flush
Straight
Three of a Kind
Two Pair
Ace
King

Why do you play poker?
You have to learn what kind of hand this guy shows down, what that one's moves, watch the veins in his neck, watch his eyes, the way he sweats.
