Caribbean Poker Rule and Basics

Caribbean Stud Poker is the American casino game played against the banker but not against other players. This is what makes it common to other games like blackjack, slots games and online roulette rules for European and American Roulette Tips games. In this poker game there is a compulsory Ante bet made by all the players before the card deal. According to the basic Caribbean poker rule, the players and dealer are given five cards each, one of the dealer’s cards in dealt face up. The players verify their cards, take a look at one dealer’s card and make the betting decision. Every player can fold the cards and give up the Ante bet or to raise twice the bet and compete for the pot. When the decisions are made the showdown follows.

If the banker’s hand doesn’t contain Ace and King or better the player gets back the bet plus the win equal to the Ante amount. In case the banker qualifies (have Ace and King  or better) but the player’s hand is still higher he or she is paid according to the Caribbean Stud payout table:

1-to-1 on Pair or High Card

2-to-1 on Two Pair

3-to-1 on Three of a Kind

4-to-1 on Straight

5-to-1 on Flush

7-to-1 on Full House

20-to-1 on Four of a Kind

50-to-1 on Straight Flush

100-to-1 on Royal Flush

As Caribbean poker rule dictates, if the dealer’s hand qualifies and beats the player’s one the player loses all the money wagered.
